Basketball Recap: Ropes' Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Ropes entered their contest against Whiteface on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The match between the Ropes Eagles and the Whiteface Antelopes didn't end well, with the Ropes Eagles falling 47-28. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ropes' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 17-7. As for Whiteface, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

Ropes and Whiteface should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Ropes (ranked 313th) will meet Seagraves (ranked 1237th) at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Whiteface will square off against Smyer at 6:15 p.m. on Friday up 400 places (105 vs. 505).
