Football Recap: Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bruning-Davenport/Shickley can now relate to. They lost to the Burwell Longhorns at home by a 49-30 margin on Thursday. That makes it the first time this season the Eagles have let down their home crowd.

Levi Kamler threw for 39 yards and one TD. Wyatt Kempf was his top target, picking up 27 receiving yards.

Bruning-Davenport/Shickley's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Burwell, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
