Baseball Game Preview: Cooper Jaguars vs. Boone County Rebels

The Cooper Jaguars will challenge the Boone County Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Cooper managed to slip by Dixie Heights the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Jaguars came up short against the Colonels on Monday, falling 10-3. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Meanwhile, Boone County fell victim to Campbell County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 11-0 to the Camels. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Boone County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Cooper, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10-1.

Cooper beat Boone County 5-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Do the Jaguars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rebels turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
