Volleyball Recap: Freedom Has No Trouble Against Antioch

Freedom won the last time they faced Antioch and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Freedom Falcons put the hurt on the Antioch Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Falcons not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 3rd.

While Freedom won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 27-25, 25-17.

Freedom is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. Antioch dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Freedom has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Heritage on the 13th. As for Antioch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Liberty on the 13th.
