Basketball Recap: Jefferson Snags 14th Victory in Last 16 Games

Jefferson won the last time they faced Lodge Grass and things went their way on Friday too. The Jefferson Panthers walked away with a 51-42 victory over the Lodge Grass Indians.

Jefferson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryian Eveland, who shot 43% from the field en route to 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and five blocks. What's more, Eveland posted four steals, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cameron Toney, who went 6-for-15 to rack up 23 points.

Jefferson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. Lodge Grass' loss dropped their record down to 10-12.

Jefferson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-56 victory against Shepherd on the 8th. Lodge Grass does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
