Volleyball Recap: North Cobb Takes a Loss

North Cobb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Alpharetta Raiders. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Madison Carter paced North Cobb's offense, picking up seven kills. Carter were helped by Avery Williams and Ashley Hendershot, who contributed seven assists each.

North Cobb's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Alpharetta, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Coming up, North Cobb will head out on the road to face off against Marietta at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alpharetta, they will be playing at home against Pope at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
