The Forrest County Agricultural Aggies will face off against the Sacred Heart Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Forrest County Agricultural has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with four straight defeats, while Sacred Heart will come in with four straight victories.

Forrest County Agricultural saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Palyn Brock, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI. The dominant performance gave Brock a new career-high in RBI. Mallory Boyte was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Sacred Heart hadn't done well against Resurrection Catholic recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Sacred Heart's pitcher stepped up to hand Resurrection Catholic a 14-0 shutout. Considering the Crusaders have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Resurrection Catholic's batters probably weren't too happy with Katy Kilgore, who pitched a no hitter and racked up ten Ks (she gave up zero walks). Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Kilgore.
On the hitting side, Jana Phillips was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Cambrie Baugh, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3.
Sacred Heart kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in four consecutive contests.
Sacred Heart pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Forrest County Agricultural, their loss dropped their record down to 6-17.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Forrest County Agricultural has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Sacred Heart struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Forrest County Agricultural came out on top in a nail-biter against Sacred Heart when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 18-17.
