Football Recap: Mt. Pleasant Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Mt. Pleasant's offense. They had to suffer through a 45-0 loss at the hands of the Woonsocket Villa Novans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Kilties of the 33-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Mt. Pleasant now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Woonsocket, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Pleasant is set to take on their familiar foe East Providence at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Woonsocket will square off against rival South Kingstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
