Basketball Recap: Crownpoint Takes a Loss

Crownpoint lost against Wingate back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Crownpoint Eagles fell to the Wingate Bears 51-45. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crownpoint's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Wingate, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-7.

Crownpoint will be playing in front of their home fans against Tohatchi at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tohatchi will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Crownpoint surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wingate, they will head out to take on Zuni at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Zuni is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.1 points per game this season.
