Softball Recap: Columbia Academy Bulldogs vs. Providence Christian Academy LIONS
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Columbia Academy). They blew past the Providence Christian Academy LIONS 11-1 on Monday. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly ten runs.
Anna Brewer made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over six innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, two runs, and two RBI. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high.
