The Elkhorn South Storm are taking a road trip to take on the Omaha Westside Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Elkhorn South took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Westview by a score of 69-62. The win continues a trend for the Storm in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Omaha Westside entered their tilt with Buena Vista on Friday with five consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Bison 69-26. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.

Omaha Westside's win came from a few key players Elkhorn South will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sanai Foster, who posted nine points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Elise Pederson, who put up eight points and six rebounds.

Omaha Westside pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points over those games. As for Elkhorn South, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.
