Baseball Recap: Lawrence Upper Wins Going Away Against St. Martin De Porres

Lawrence Upper never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against St. Martin de Porres as they made off with a 28-0 win. The result was nothing new for Lawrence Upper, who have now won three matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Will Crooks was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with five runs, two stolen bases, and three doubles. What's more, he posted four RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Matteo, who got on base in five of his seven plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.

Lawrence Upper was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .595. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Lawrence Upper now has a winning record of 5-4. As for St. Martin de Porres, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
