Volleyball Recap: Middletown Christian Comes Up Short

Middletown Christian lost against Mt. Healthy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Fighting Owls by a score of 3-2.

Middletown Christian wouldn't go down easily and took Mt. Healthy into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-23, 25-13, 18-25, 15-12.

Middletown Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Mt. Healthy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

Coming up, Middletown Christian will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Trotwood-Madison at 5:00 p.m. The Eagles are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Mt. Healthy, they will head out to challenge Belmont at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
