Football Recap: Haskell Sets Scoring Season-High Against Seymour

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Haskell). They enjoyed a cozy 56-42 win over the Seymour Panthers on Friday. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 24-13 defeat the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why Seymour lost, don't look at Demarcus Smith. Despite the final result, he rushed for 102 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries. Smith also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making five total tackles (2.0 for loss). SLADE TUCKER also helped out with an impressive 100 receiving yards.

The victory got Haskell back to even at 3-3. As for Seymour, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
