Basketball Recap: Easton Area's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Easton Area came into Tuesday's match having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They strolled past the Northampton Konkrete Kids with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 66-50. The win was all the more spectacular given the Rovers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 395th, while the Konkrete Kids are ranked 197th).

Easton Area's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyshaun Dunlap, who posted 23 points. The dominant performance gave Dunlap a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Algee Macon, who had 14 points.

Easton Area's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-11. As for Northampton, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7.

Easton Area didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-39 win against Freedom on the 24th. Northampton has also already played their next game (against Liberty), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
