Geno Perry Crosses Big Stat Threshold

On Friday, Lowellville got the W thanks in part to Geno Perry playing the best football he has all season. Perry rushed for 282 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.1 rushing touchdowns per game. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

On the season, Perry has averaged 22.2 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 35.33 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 184.78 rushing yards.

Jack Darney posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 217 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.

Darney must have Mineral Ridge's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Darney rushed for 138 yards while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also picked up 51 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Rams duked it out back in October of 2023.

Dante Gentile Delivers Electric Performance Vs Mcdonald

Dante Gentile's big game helped extend Springfield's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Gentile as he rushed for 187 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 115 rushing yards.

This year, Gentile has run in 18 touchdowns while averaging 175.4 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 100.89 rushing yards per game.

Josh Pazel Makes It Two for Lowellville

Another Lowellville player making an appearance on this list is Josh Pazel. He picked up 154 receiving yards and a touchdown.

A Season-Best Effort from Ricky Willrich Leads Lowellville over Waterloo

Lowellville was led to victory by Ricky Willrich, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Willrich threw for 291 yards and two touchdowns on only 18 passes.
