Branson has gone a perfect 3-0 against Marshfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Pirates will look to defend their home field against the Bluejays at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Branson had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least 31 points, but Parkview put an end to it on Friday. The Pirates fell 18-13 to the Vikings. The game marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Marshfield scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Bolivar by a score of 37-35.

Branson moved to 3-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Marshfield, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Branson against Marshfield in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-7 victory. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Bluejays have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
