Basketball Recap: Ferndale's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Ferndale won the last time they faced Blaine and things went their way on Thursday too. The Ferndale Golden Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Blaine Borderites, sneaking past 59-56. Given the Golden Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Borderites are ranked 293rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ferndale's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9. As for Blaine, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
