Softball Recap: Seton Lasalle Falls Short of Chartiers-Houston in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Seton LaSalle can now relate to. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers on Monday. The Rebels haven't had much luck with the Buccaneers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Seton LaSalle saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gianna Ferrieri, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. Ferrieri is on a roll when it comes to triples, as she's now hit at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Seton LaSalle's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Chartiers-Houston, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

As of now, neither Seton LaSalle nor the Buccaneers have any future games scheduled.
