Munising barely beat North Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jets on Monday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Munising took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-9.

Addie Bowerman paced Munising's offense, picking up 12 kills. Bowerman got some help from Carissa Deatsman and her 22 assists. Deatsman also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kaylen Kienitz, each putting up nine.

Munising is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6-1 record this season. As for North Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

North Central will take on North Dickinson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Munising will be paying especially close attention to the Jets' contest: after the Jets face off against the Nordics, they'll take on Munising again at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
