Baseball Recap: Columbus North Takes a Loss

Columbus North and Whiteland squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Columbus North had to settle for second. They lost 12-2 to the Warriors. The Bull Dogs just can't catch a break and have now endured eight losses in a row.

Columbus North saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brock Kintner, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Columbus North's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Whiteland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-9.

Columbus North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Whiteland, they will face off against East Central at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
