Volleyball Recap: Tyler Classical Academy Eagles vs. East Texas Homeschool Sports Chargers
Tyler Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the East Texas Homeschool Sports Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.
The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-15, 25-15.
East Texas Homeschool Sports got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gracie Tucker out in front who had five kills and 12 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Rettig, who had eight kills and a block.
Tyler Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for East Texas Homeschool Sports, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-12 record this season.
