Preview: Valley Vikings vs. Beth Haven Bearcats
The Valley Vikings will be playing at home against the Beth Haven Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings (they are ranked 208th, while Beth Haven is ranked 93rd).
Last Tuesday, it was a hard-fought game, but Valley had to settle for a 52-49 defeat against Iroquois.
Meanwhile, Beth Haven can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Bullitt Central with a sharp 91-68 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Jordan Harris, who scored 34 points along with six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Levi Langley was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Beth Haven, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7.
