Isabella won against Greene County last Tuesday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Mustangs never let the Aliceville Yellowjackets get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won eight contests by 12 runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Isabella, bringing their record up to 11-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Aliceville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Isabella beat the Yellowjackets by a score of 18-0 later that day.
