Preview: Black Hills Wolves vs. Shelton Highclimbers
The Black Hills Wolves will be playing at home against the Shelton Highclimbers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Black Hills will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.
Last Friday, Black Hills didn't have too much trouble with Elma on the road as they won 46-27. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Black Hills has scored all year.
Black Hills got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyler Venable out in front who scored 13 points along with four steals. The matchup was Venable's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ashley Harris, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Shelton couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a rough 64-25 loss at the hands of WF West. Shelton has not had much luck with WF West recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Black Hills' win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Shelton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Black Hills came up short against Shelton when the teams last played back in January, falling 47-39. Can Black Hills avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
