Baseball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends North Scott's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but North Scott unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 11-1 to the Johnston Dragons. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lancers have suffered since June 9th.

North Scott now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Johnston, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

North Scott didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-5 defeat against Dallas Center-Grimes on the 28th. As for Johnston, they will square off against Southeast Polk at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
