Hope Christian faced Volcano Vista in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Huskies blew past the Hawks 3-0. Fans of Hope Christian have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

They hit Volcano Vista with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Islah Stansfield, Louisa Landavazo, and Brooklyn Fankam.

Hope Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Volcano Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hope Christian will square off against Eldorado at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eldorado will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Hope Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Volcano Vista, they are taking a road trip to face off against Sandia at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
