Softball Recap: Higley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mesquite on Monday, Higley came back down to earth. The Knights came up short against the Highland Hawks on Tuesday, falling 10-0.

Higley has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17-1 record this season. As for Highland, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

While Higley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
