Volleyball Game Preview: Holliston Panthers vs. Westwood Wolverines

Holliston is 2-8 against Westwood since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Holliston didn't have quite enough to beat Dennis-Yarmouth Regional and fell 3-2.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Holliston sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 21-25, 27-25, 22-25, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Westwood came up short against Medfield on Friday, falling 3-0. The Wolverines have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Westwood's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Holliston, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Holliston suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Westwood in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
