Westchester is 8-2 against Palisades since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Westchester Comets will host the Palisades Dolphins at 4:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Westchester sitting on eight straight wins and Palisades on four.

Last Wednesday, Westchester beat Fairfax 75-67. Given the Comets' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Lions are ranked 286th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Palisades didn't have too much trouble with Hamilton on Wednesday as they won 64-49.

Westchester pushed their record up to 15-9 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.5 points per game. As for Palisades, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Westchester was able to grind out a solid win over Palisades when the teams last played back in January, winning 68-58. Does Westchester have another victory up their sleeve, or will Palisades turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
