McGavock is a perfect 10-0 against Hunters Lane since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Raiders will head out to take on the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. McGavock is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.9 runs per game this season.

McGavock took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over Antioch. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Amanda Toth made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Toth was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Makenzie Kilby was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Jasmine Dahl was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Hunters Lane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 7-0 to Hillsboro.

McGavock is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. As for Hunters Lane, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

McGavock took their win against Hunters Lane when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 19-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
