Basketball Recap: Midway Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Midway can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 59-49 win over the Bryson Cowboys. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Falcons' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1352nd, while the Cowboys are ranked 588th).

Midway's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-11. As for Bryson, the loss snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 15-2 record.

Midway will take on Prairie Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bryson, they will face off against Newcastle at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
