Nevis is a perfect 9-0 against Menahga since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Tigers will square off against the Braves at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

On Thursday, Nevis was able to grind out a solid victory over Walker-Hackensack-Akeley, taking the game 3-1.

Meanwhile, Menahga hadn't done well against New York Mills recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Braves came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1.

Nevis' win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Menahga, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10-2.

Everything went Nevis' way against Menahga when the teams last played back in August of 2023, as Nevis made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
