Hunter Scruggs was a major factor in Phillips's victory over Cherokee on Friday. Scruggs was dynamite, picking up three sacks and making four total tackles.

Looking ahead, Scruggs and Phillips will head out on the road to face off against Hackleburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since September of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
