Volleyball Recap: Century Takes a Loss

Century lost against Tartan back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans.

Laney Stellmaker paced Century's offense, picking up six kills. Stellmaker really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 13. Brooklyn Schulz controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Century has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Tartan, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-6.

Century didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Lewiston-Altura on the 27th. As for Tartan, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Hopkins at 7:00 p.m.
