Basketball Recap: Poly's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak at Home

Poly entered their match against Rancho Verde on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Poly Bears fell 59-48 to the Rancho Verde Mustangs. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 61-52.

Poly's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-9. As for Rancho Verde, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Poly will take on Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rancho Verde has already played their next game (against San Diego), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
