Basketball Recap: St. Patrick's Skates Past Hershey with Ease

St. Patrick won the last time they faced Hershey and things went their way on Saturday too. The St. Patrick's Irish simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hershey Panthers 59-30. The Irish have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 29 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for St. Patrick's and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Hershey, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Patrick's will venture away from home to challenge Ogallala at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Ogallala's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Hershey, they will head out on the road to square off against Kimball at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kimball knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Hershey likes a good challenge.
