While Plattsmouth might've come up empty on Friday, Jacob Longton wasn't going down without a fight. Longton turned in nothing short of a gem, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
