Football Recap: Carrollton Takes Down Harrison in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Carrollton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Harrison Hoyas 51-6. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Cameron Wood produced another solid effort rushing for 159 yards and two scores on only 13 carries. He has been hot, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last eight times he's played. Rontre Welch was in the mix too, providing Carrollton with two TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Carrollton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 228 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

The victory keeps Carrollton at an undefeated 12-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 48.7 points this season. As for Harrison, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-2.

Looking ahead, Carrollton will look to defend their home field on Friday against Grayson at 7:30 p.m. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 31 points in their last eight games. Harrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
