Basketball Recap: Port Allegany Gators vs. Clarion-Limestone Lions
On Friday, the Port Allegany Gators came up short against the Clarion-Limestone Lions and fell 63-53. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Port Allegany lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Isac Amell, who en route to 15 points and eight rebounds. Jarrod Funk was another key player, on his way to 14 points and five boards.
Even though they lost, Port Allegany was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They racked up six more assists than Clarion-Limestone's also-impressive total of ten.
