Basketball Recap: Millbury's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Millbury won the last time they faced Nipmuc Regional and things went their way on Monday too. The Millbury Woolies walked away with a 52-42 win over the Nipmuc Regional Warriors. The victory was familiar territory for the Woolies who have now won three matchups in a row.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chase Kelly, who posted 17 points. Logan DeMarzo was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Millbury's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Nipmuc Regional, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-1.

Millbury is taking a road trip to take on Manchester Essex at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nipmuc Regional, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sutton at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
