Volleyball Recap: Pewaukee Comes Up Short

Pewaukee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Westosha Central Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Monday.

Jackson Piper paced Pewaukee's offense, picking up ten kills. Piper got some help from Ethan Dalangin and his 15 assists. Dalangin also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Grant Conrad, each putting up two.

Pewaukee's defeat dropped their record down to 11-19. As for Westosha Central, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.

Looking ahead, Pewaukee will take on Martin Luther at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westosha Central, they will square off against Kenosha Tremper at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Trojans have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
