Floyd Central extended their postseason success on Saturday against Greenfield-Central. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Cougars. The win was familiar territory for the Highlanders, who have now won 17 contests in a row.

The team relied heavily on Addy Ware, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Natalie Curtis, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Floyd Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April.

Floyd Central's victory bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Greenfield-Central, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 19-8 record.
