Basketball Recap: Lyman Memorial Takes a Loss

Lyman Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. The matchup between them and the Ledyard Colonels didn't end well, with the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs falling 72-57.

Despite the loss, Lyman Memorial still got an impressive performance from Kevin Botticello, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. Botticello is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last 18 games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Conor Hawkins, who posted nine points.

Lyman Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Ledyard, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Lyman Memorial has already played their next game, a 73-57 defeat against Killingly on the 4th. Ledyard has also already played their next contest (against Stonington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
