Napoleon has gone a perfect 6-0 against East Jackson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Pirates will look to defend their home field against the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Napoleon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Napoleon made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lumen Christi Catholic, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Pirates fell just short of the Titans by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Pirates have suffered since April 26th.

Napoleon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Hamlin, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

Meanwhile, East Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 16-6 to Jonesville.

Khloee Gettings was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Napoleon and nudges their season record down to 7-9. As for East Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Everything went Napoleon's way against East Jackson when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Napoleon made off with a 15-4 win. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
