Normandy and Lakewood are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Invaders will look to defend their home field on Monday against the Rangers at 5:00 p.m. Normandy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Normandy lost 15-6 to North Olmsted on Friday.

Meanwhile, while Lakewood put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Brookside. The Rangers were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Cardinals. That 16 run margin sets a new team best for the Rangers this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Lakewood and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Normandy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Normandy came out on top in a nail-biter against Lakewood in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 5-3. Will the Invaders repeat their success, or do the Rangers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
