Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Gilmanton/Independence's Third in Last Four Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Osseo-Fairchild, Gilmanton/Independence was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 68-60 win over the Eleva-Strum Cardinals. For Gilmanton/Independence, this counts as revenge for the 62-43 victory Eleva-Strum walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Gilmanton/Independence is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points per game. As for Eleva-Strum, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Gilmanton/Independence does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eleva-Strum, they will head out to face off against Augusta at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eleva-Strum is facing Augusta at the right time seeing as Augusta is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
