It was a good run, but Mehlville unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 18-7 to the Lindbergh Flyers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flyers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in March.

Mehlville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Lindbergh, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season.

While Mehlville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
