Basketball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Life Christian's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Life Christian had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 65-62 win over the Lakewood Christian Lions. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 62-46 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Life Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points over those games. As for Lakewood Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

As of now, neither Life Christian nor Lakewood Christian have any future games scheduled.
