York took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Woodside, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. York narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Woodside 3-2. While York didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

They hit Woodside with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Peter Hoeher, Bradley Metcalf, and Braxton Ficklen.

The victory made it two in a row for York and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Woodside, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1-1.
